A post-apocalyptic YA novel with queer main characters! I like these types of stories and enjoyed reading one with two guys as main characters and couple. For me, the writing felt a bit simple but that could be because it's aimed towards a younger audience and I'm in my mid twenties. There were some moments that I wish the author had explored more, instead of skipping so much in the timeline, but all in all it's a nice little book.
Graphic: Death, Death of parent
Moderate: Homophobia, Injury/Injury detail
