I thought this was such an interesting look at relationships. From the viewpoint of different women who knew and loved (maybe) Nishino at different points in his life, we get to see a portrait of a really strange and selfish man. What I liked most was each woman had a different perspective on their relationship with him, but you see a lot of the same behaviors from him from woman to woman. From the way he tells them they’re “not like other women” to his constant two timing, this guy doesn’t change. There were a few chapters that felt a little long, but overall I really enjoyed each of them. Also the food descriptions were fantastic.
