This was an enjoyable read. Jenny always writes interesting characters and this book was no exception. Polly was sweet and I liked seeing her growth throughout the book. I wish we'd gotten a little more Huckle because he was kind of adorable.

The arc with Tarnie was predictable...and then sad. I also could have done without the Kerensa arc; she didn't bring anything to the story in my opinion.

Overall I did like this book and will continue to work my way through all of Jenny's books.
