Extasia by Claire Legrand
The amount of harm that feminism has done to literature.... (kidding, kidding)
But seriously! EXTASIA showed early promise but Legrand took a didactic turn and turned it into a story of "women good, men bad". It's so boring and predictable!! Plus not even a thoughtful analysis!! And she added a pointless lesbian relationship with ZERO chemistry but we're all supposed to like it because it's such a feminist slay..... Like zero thoughts, just representation politics and bland feminisms. Sigh... Horror is supposed to be about the abominable, not about making a palatable and easily digestible novel.
