Spoiler alert - givers make the world a better place compared to takers. Givers are also generally happier and so are people around them. Givers rule, takers suck.
A thoroughly well researched book presented with so many great examples. I’ve learned a lot - it made me question my intentions and how I treat people / the world in general. Am I a giver or a taker? I’m sort of in between but perhaps more on the giver’s side. People like me who are in between, neither here nor there, tend to not achieve/contribute that much. So it made me realise I need to work on giving more, not only to gain, but mostly to contribute and add value to the world.
Reading this book was kind of a humbling experience.
