The Crystal Clipper by B. Roman

4.0

David doesn’t have it easy. Deaf from a childhood disease and without a mother, he rises to the challenge when his wheelchair-bound sister disappears. His delight in the crystals his aunt gives him lead to a brave new world where he gets drawn into an epic quest between good and evil. He needs to find his sister, and meets many connected souls. There are many twists, and while it’s targeted for teens or YA, I enjoyed it as an adult.
