Year of No Clutter by Eve O. Schaub

5.0

I never thought I'd understand the hoarder mindset...on a scale of Hoarder to Minimalist, I definitely lean more towards the latter end of the scale. This book had me laughing out loud, crawling with frustration at the weird, random, occasionally gross STUFF she holds onto (a dead mouse in a box? Her daughters' fingernail? why?? WHY??), and nodding in reluctant understanding and pity at her clear, self-depracating, honest explanations of how her brain works and why she just has to hang onto things that "normal" people have no problem tossing.
Thoroughly enjoyable, funny, and real. I'm loving this author!
