The Tanglewood Tea Shop by Lilac Mills

4.0

So adorably cute! I love when communities come together to invite someone new in and gather together to help themselves through tough times. The antagonist is so well written and I love how it gets resolved, I got a little choked up.

This is the story of Stevie, a baker who finds herself out of a job and getting an inheritance from a relative that has passed away. She decides to open a tea shop and finds not only a new family in the community she moves to but she also finds love.

It has a bit of a slow start, but once you get halfway through, it really picks up and gets going. Betty, a true fairy godmother, is such a great character. This book makes me want to move to a small town where everyone knows each other.

I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
