Sycamore Row
by John Grisham
This is a John Grisham legal thriller, so I expect (and in some respects welcome) a certain amount of stock characters and lazy morality.
What I demand from Grisham is that he plot his novels well, and he slacked off here. The book is slow moving. Too much of the plot outline was lifted from A Time To Kill. The climax was spotted a mile off. The concept was good, but he got lazy.
