(2023 reread)
Just as amazing as on my first read, perhaps even more. I'm looking forward to starting the sequel tonight!!
(2019) It feels like it's been a while since I was that invested in a book. Very, very difficult to put down from the first page to the last. Well-paced, with interesting characters and an even more interesting universe that seems destined to grow.
As for the story, I absolutely loved it, twists and turns included (what I would also include, however, are serious content warnings). It's dark, very much so, just as dark as your usual thriller if not more, with horror elements that are very well handled. It's also absolutely riveting.
Am delighted to see that this will be a new series, and will try to procure more from this author in the future!!
