Ciara is on the run to protect her family, and I get that, but she was really irritating by the end of the book. Lincoln was a little too perfect outside of the weird

naming his dick thing that became a cringey running gag in the book

. I think what really saves this book is the secondary characters. I'm looking forward to Nina's story next.
