The beginning of the book felt very slow but I started liking it after 40% in. Xavier didn't understand where he went wrong at first but I liked the fact that he was more rational and calm in this one. The last half was very enjoyable and it was nice to see Xavier stand up for Frankie after all that happened in the last book. But I hated the fact that Sohpie was given so much less space in this book. I missed her adorable talks. Overall, I enjoyed this book much more than the previous ones. And I could definitely feel the chemistry between Xavier & Frankie and I also really liked how her sisters and brother cared for her and had her back. Still, I wish Xavier would've groveled because he did not understand Frankie and the turmoil he put her through was very emotionally wrecking. If there was a good grovel in this book, maybe I would've loved the trilogy but unfortunately that was not the case.
