Majority of these stars are for Nolan lol love me a broody chess man and all of the sudden I feel the need to rewatch Queen's Gambit and become a pro chess player??
Mallory at some points was super childish and self-destructive and her lack of communication with literally everyone in her life was wild. (Side note: her 'friendship' with Easton? That whole miscommunication trope sucked and they're bad friends)
The ending felt really abrupt and I wish we got to actually see them play in the tournament instead of just reading about it 2 years later.
