The Christie Affair by Nina de Gramont
3.0

This is a historical fiction, with a heavy emphasis on the fiction about Agatha Christie's disappearance. I had really high hopes for this book but sadly it didn't live up to expectations.

There are 2 different timelines, both told from Nan's (Christie's husband's mistress) perspective but they were always clear which time each chapter was set in but they felt a little forced to connect at the end.

I can't tell if the twist was meant to be obvious or not but if felt practically sign posted which wasn't what I was expecting for a book about a mystery. Overall the writing was good and the ideas were interesting but the plot wasn't what I wanted.
