Moral of the story: don't follow cute guys you've just met to new countries, especially if you don't have any money.
Not a fan of the plot of this one overall. It was too overly intricate. I'm also realizing that I'm generally not a fan of Christie's works when it delves into espionage and politics.
I did, however, like that Christie's knowledge of the Middle Eastern culture showed here and that there were also a few lines scattered throughout that poked fun at the ignorance of British tourists at the time.
