This is an ideal beach read, it's fast-paced, it's sexy, and the vibes are fairly low-stakes. Both characters are struggling to know what they want and so they have to work for it, but much of the book is just the two characters falling in love as they determine what they want out of their life.
Meryl Wilsner's books are very hit or miss for me, but I enjoyed listening to this one!
Nonbinary representation by a nonbinary author in the traditionally published space is amazing and I was so glad that Ginny's journey had nothing to do with their gender.
I thought the plot of the breaking up of the engagement was super fun and I think the first half of this book is better than the second half. It gets a little too slow and convoluted in a way that ended up being a little frustrating.
This book was very sexy!
