I honestly expected sth different. It is described as mysterious but I honestly don't see it. Alyson was annoying (even though I still appreciated a main character that is different from others) but that made me just not like her. When the ending came around with "the big revelation" .... I just thought "That was clear from the beginning...." which didn't actually make it such a big WOW effect. Also, how the sutuation was handled.....sorry, but I don't think that was ideal. It was just erasing the problem and so dealing with it was not necessary anymore. It's not what I wished for, especially because this book is all about feminism.
