Last Chance Summer by Shannon Klare
4.0
Alex lost a friend a year ago, but it still weighs heavily on her. Another incident and she is shipped to her aunt's summer camp, as a counselor. Paired up with Grant, who is not exactly easy going. :) Along with butting heads, the sparks between them are flying. :)
Gotta be honest, I didn't like Alex in the begging, at all. I rolled my eyes as I read the way she talked to people and the way she carried herself, but the more I read on, the more she grew on me, and by the end, I was full-on Alex's team. :)
It's a heartwarming story on moving on, of dealing with grief, and guilt. There are hope, new love, and a new start.
One of those books that you read in one swoop.
