The Book of the City of Ladies by Christine de Pizan

4.0

I really enjoyed this! Good for you Christine, defending women against all the attacks from male poets. I enjoyed hearing about the real and fictional women popular in 1300s France. It was super interesting to hear about Christine's contemporaries - knowing what I know about how it turned out for those women later on.
I would love to read a modern version of this - the women we uphold today and the virtues we celebrate.
