I swear I dont understand why there's people who hated this book.
At the beginning we have disney movie!Belle going to rescue her father, and then we have the love story of Maurice and Rosalind (Belle's mother) when they were young, where there was a kingdom full of magical creatures which I've enjoyed it so much!
However, it's not until Belle touches the rose that the author's world truly starts to blossom.
A lot of people says the book its pretty dark and I would say that although it is a bit darker than the disney version, especially towards the end, it's mostly more light hearted than it seems.
The book its great but if you are going to read it then don't assume that its going to go the way you think.
