Love At First Fright by Nadia El-Fassi
3.5
emotional funny lighthearted medium-paced

This was a fun cozy paranormal romance. Rosemary Shaw is a horror book author and one of her books is being made into a movie. She also has the ability to see and communicate with ghosts. She goes to the UK to be involved in the film adaptation of her book and meets Ellis Finch, who Rosemary absolutely did not want as the actor in the lead role. There is a bit of insta-attraction, so their relationship felt a little rushed to me, but I still enjoyed it. While Rosemary & Ellis are figuring things out between themselves, ghosts are haunting and disrupting the set and Rosemary decides to help them out. This little side plot was one of the highlights for me. Love at First Fright was a fun quick read – and is a perfect choice for a fall read.
