I couldn't sleep last night because of reasons so I decided to crochet and listen to THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME audiobook. I'm so glad it was as engaging as it was because it made the long sleepless night short and as enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances.
I really liked this story. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I feel like I went through the gambit of emotions just like Hannah. I guessed some of the reasons behind why things happened, but I thought the story was still engrossing. I thought the ending was bittersweet and, honestly, I feel like if Laura Dave wanted to write a sequel, she could. I personally think the author ended the story in the perfect place for this type of book.
