Personally, I am a sucker for 70s rock. And drama. So the second I discovered this book I absolutely wanted to read it. And I don't regret it. I absolutely love TJR's books. I loved Daisy Jones. I love how this book explored the deep connections between people, their emotions, and music. I really loved the narrative style. It took some getting used to at the beginning, but I really liked the idea of the author being one of the characters in the story, hearing about these events decades after they all happened. Billy's struggle with addiction is something that connected deeply with me. I was rooting for him the whole time. I really loved the idea of this book and Im glad to say it didn't disappoint.
