I loved this book. I LOVED the characters. Morgan Elizabeth knows how to write a cute, great book. This series was so fun to read. While they're very easy to get through, they aren't boring. They still take you on a ride.
Her characters are literally everything to me & have a special place in my heart.
Lola Turner is the oldest daughter of Mayor Shane Turner.
After her mother's passing, she takes over the responsibility of taking care of the family. She puts her life on pause in order to do so. When her father gets too deep in a hole, she can't help him anymore. She works to be able to live her dream, opening her own bakery. That's when she meets her grumpy, asshole neighbor, Benjamin Coleman.
Ben and Lola are so cute. I loved them together. They're everything.
I want to take a moment to talk about Hattie. I LOVED HER SO MUCH. Her friendship with Ben & Lola was so cute.
