Homebody was one of the worst poetry books I've ever read. Calling it a poetry book would be doing injustice to people who write actual poetry. When you are reading 3rd book by a New York Times Bestseller author, you go in with a lot of expectations but this won't stand true to any of those. Out of the 188 pages of the book, I couldn't bring myself about to like more than 5 pages at the most. Most of the pages contain not poems or excerpts, but merely 3 or 4 words, simple sentences that even a non-reader, non-writer can easily write. The book was poorly composed. It felt like whatever thought came to the writer's mind, significant or insignificant, was just put to paper. It was poorly compiled with works having almost no inter-connection.It was a total wastage of 500 bucks.
