The Winner's Kiss by Marie Rutkoski

This was a satisfying end to such a great series.

I loved every book of The Winner's Trilogy, and this one was nothing less than excellent.

It got better around the middle though. Marie Rutoski's writing style reminds me a bit of Madeline Miller (The Song of Achilles), except more straight foward. It was amazing. The action scenes didn't bore me either, in fact, it kept me hooked! There were so many cute moments as well. Fans definitely won't be disappointed.

I loved reading Arin's and Kestrel's chapters. You know how in books with multiple POVs you sometimes get bored with a certain character? This did not happen, at all. I was engrossed in each of their narratives. Their voices are pretty distinct, and I loved reading Arin's thoughts, and Kestrel's moments were so enjoyable to read.

Roshar is such a lovable character as well.

The plot of all three books had me from the very start, but I loved the non-stop action of this one. Everything was so researched for a fictional war, and it didn't shy away from the horrors of it. The drama of a war was so realistic as well.

I'll definitely revisit this series in the future.
