The Watcher of the Night Sky by Rachel Pudsey

3.0

I was given this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
This was a pretty fast paced book to get through. It had a feel of the 1989 Teen Witch with Robyn Lively and the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings. I found myself chuckling at various scenes when the whole group was together because of just how ridiculous things kept turning out. One thing that did annoy me was the fact that this had a serious cliffhanger at the end. Personally, I can’t stand huge cliffhangers like that. I mean I understand a little bit of one to hint at the next book but this one felt like the book was purposely cut in half just to get two or three books out of it. I know it’s supposed to make you want to jump to the next book, but in cases like this, I just get annoyed. It was a good book and I’m glad I was able to read it, but cliffhangers can be very evil sometimes.
