The vibes in this book were just👨🏼🍳💋 I think this might be my favourite book by Ali! She just writes MMC’s I absolutely love every time. Did I understand half of the stuff that was talked about? No, but I ate it up anyway😅 She just writes so well, that I don’t even care. And the twilight references were just the cherry on the top! (Twilight is my fave) I also love a good pun, so I very much appreciated all the puns in this book—even if I didn’t always understand them🤣
I am obsessed with Jack, I don’t think he could have been written better! He had me swooning. He was so in love with Elsie and was the biggest simp! Elsie was the biggest people pleaser and I loved how Jack really encouraged her to do things for herself and be her genuine self, especially around him. I just absolutely loved the chemistry and banter between them. I also think this is Ali’s spiciest book yet, which I definitely can’t complain about!!
