The Haunting of Maddy Clare by Simone St. James
3.5
The premise of The Haunting of Maddy Clare was really instriguing. I did find myself enjoying the story and the plot twist. There were just some areas of the book where I was feeling bored and just felt unnecessarily slow? It did get way better once Sarah and Matthew has pieced out what exactly happened. I did find the insta-attraction and side plot of romance a bit meh. Overall, an enjoyable read. This is my first Simone St. James novel and will definitely check out her other works!
