Prophet of Bones by Ted Kosmatka

3.0

An interesting take on the history-adventure-science type of read, but a bit too draggy at bits and bogged down in the science ~ there were several pages I simply had to gloss over because my mind couldn't process the nuances of genetics (and really didn't care as much of it, from what I could tell, didn't impact my ability to follow the story.

As with many of the books in this genre, the ending is anti-climactic and rather abrupt.

I may try another of this author's books but I'm not rushing to do so.
