I feel bad giving this low of a rating, that's really low for me, but I've really enjoyed books that have a lower rating on here so I feel like I have to be fair in this first review on the title.

It is indeed a sapphic friends to lovers fake romance story, with some spice as promised. It's a very slow burn, which was a little frustrating, but that was ok. The part I really didn't like was that effectively, despite the sapphic love around the edges, the plot was mostly driven by a douche-y guy who won't take "no" for an answer. Which, that's not why I read these books! 😅 I'd rather not have that big of roles for men TBH. They get everything else.

The characters were loveable enough, if totally oblivious to their mutual attraction (see "slow burn") and pretty unrelatable (actors, one of which has a trust fund).
