do i have any fucking clue what i just read? no. did i love everything single second of it? yes. was this probably the best thing i've ever read? also yes.
i think this was the most engaged i have ever been while reading a book in my life. the experience you have while reading is unmatched AND I JUST NEED KEEP GOING AND READ THE REST OF THE BOOKS SO SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE
reread: i'm still just as speechless as my first time reading it. the fact i simply couldn't move on to another book after finishing this series before rereading because i NEEDED to spot every clue and all the tiny little details and it was the best decision ever.
it's the way i managed to SOMEHOW have even more fun on my reread. i was constantly adding more details to all my theories and realising so many things that went completely over my head on my first read and it was simply the best experience.
while rereading, you truly understand just how complex the plot is and how much of a mastermind stephanie garber is and i'm still in awe of how someone can even put a book like this together.
i didn't know it would even be possible but it made me fall in love EVEN deeper with the story and with julian and scarlett. it already holds such nostalgia for me and caraval will forever be my home <3
