This is not a proper review. I've just written down my thoughts on the book.
Sidenote: I bet the last one is gonna be called "Convergent".
Insurgent is an action-packed book which made me feel so many emotions at once that I had to take breaks to relieve myself from the emotional conflict I was facing. It's an amazingly written book, with the perfect amount of action, humour, suspense, romance, world building and character development.
BASICALLY, IT WAS MINDBLOWINGLY AWESOME.
I LOVED ITTTTT I LOVED IT I LOVEDDDD ITTTT.
Usually, the sequel to a riveting book is not as good but I liked Insurgent even more than Divergent.. If that's humanly possible. Also, I LOVED the ending and it has left me with so many burning questions! AAAAAAAAAH
I decided it's easier to type in points rather than paragraphs as this way, everything I say doesn't have to be coherent and flow together nicely. I am writing my thoughts here, not an essay, so, sorry. It might contain some spoilers so read at your own risk. (Yes, I took notes while reading. Problem?)
- What does insurgent mean in relation to the story, I wonder.. Is it something like being Divergent..? O.o Or does it just mean being mutinous and has no different meaning?
- Eric...Why did he have to die? Even if he were an asshole, I didn't want him to die. :/
- Oh lol. Fail ^
- What does Jeanine want, power or information?
- If information, then what information? I NEED TO KNOW. and damnit, she already got the information! Aaaaaa
- Why isn't Marcus telling Tris about it? Ugh so frustrating
- lol. Tris under peace serum overdosage is so cute and hilarious! I want more of chapters like that! :3

Ahahaha. Dauntless sometimes remind me of wild, uncivilized animals thirsty for blood and revenge...Maybe that's exactly what they are.

P.S. I find it pretty amazing how the people are aware of the world around them and it plays a huge role in the plot. In many other dystopian books, it's like," Yeah we live here. No one else except us in this world. Hell yeah." But the end.. And how it tells us about the mission and all is so well written and well thought of. Veronica must be an Erudite cause she sure as hell is as smart as one!!
