Saga, Vol. 2 by Brian K. Vaughan

OH MY GOD. I think Graphic Novels are the best way to overcome a reading slump ... or to at least read/finish SOMETHING while you're in one. I'm super glad I discovered this series thanks to Melissa because it's AWESOME.

I'm quickly growing onto the artwork as well as the characters. They're all unique and likable in their own way and so far I haven't encountered one that I'm not interested in. I also like that there's so much background information and since Hazel is telling us everything out of her POV (kind of), it's great to discover all that through her eyes.

And the twists! There were some I didn't even expect in this volume. HOOOW DARE YOU. I mean, I know you need to keep the readers attention but NOO. Don't play with us like that. Then again that's probably what makes me love it so much. It's addictive, unpredictable and freaking cool. I'd totally recommend starting this series if you haven't already!
