Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins

5.0

I'm so sad it's over. :(
Most people say they loved Anna the best, then Lola and then Isla but I could never choose. These are all amazing and real and heartbreaking but heartwarming and endearing.. Let's just say, I cried a lot of happy tears reading all of them.

One thing I especially found very beautiful and interesting is, that the stories of the characters of the first two books don't just end with their individual books. When I read Anna and the French Kiss I was a bit disappointed that it ended so abruptly but I was so happy when I realized Stephanie Perkins sort of twisted all of the storylines together while still focusing on the main storylines in each book.

I'm so in love. I want my own Étienne. Or Cricket. Or maybe Josh.

Also, these books made me want to improve my french.. :D
