I genuinely enjoyed this and will read the next one, but I didn’t like it as much as the last two.
I think Hester’s character is by far the most interesting & I love her development. The world building continues in a really good way, and it’s still a well written adventure.
I’m not sure if I’m a little put off just because of the next generation thing, when I’d rather focus on Hester & Tom, but these books have always switched between the different characters we’re following so I don’t know if I can complain about Wren & her new friends as a focal point
