The Bomber Mafia: A Dream, a Temptation, and the Longest Night of the Second World War by Malcolm Gladwell

4.0

It was a very interesting and engaging audio book. I have noted other historians have said that Gladwell has oversimplified WWII tactics and unfairly pitted Hansel and LeMay against each other. I don’t personally see this. Both men are complicated and they aren’t moral opposites, but men trying to solve the problem of warfare which is almost always unavoidably ugly. It’s complicated. I think that’s the point of this.
