Holy spit. This book is EXCELLENT. I came here after listening to the Fated Mates deep dive and it lived up to the hype and more! Obviously with a book from this long ago, there are elements that don't hold up (specifically elements of consent and how a character with a developmental disability is portrayed) so proceed with caution. That being said, the relationship between the two main characters and their banter was an absolute delight. There are entire passages of dialogue I highlighted simply for being hilarious. When I read "repayment from Lady Kincaid" I literally sighed aloud and clutched my heart because I was filled with delight. A solid 4.5 stars.
