Fear and Trembling by Søren Kierkegaard

Did not finish book. Stopped at 51%.

I realized early on that I would not get anything out of this book, because Kierkegaards initial assumptions and arguments are completely incompatible with my worldview. Everything he claims as truth is only true according to previous "truths" he has derived through a convoluted logic that is not empirically based. I despise philosophical arguments based on mixed metaphor. 
Overall I think his points become clear eventually, but he uses way too many words to get his point across. And after all the work, his points are weak.
