It felt more like a long essay than a novel. The first half was boring to me, one of the reviews said it was comical but I did not find anything funny about it. The writing was more telling than showing and maybe I’m just not into the final revelation and the scenes that feel fake. Also I did not feel anything, there was not even a little bit of platonic friendship chemistry present. I felt like it was bland there was no shock or plot twist to me, the eerie vibes also felt nonexistent like a Pinterest aesthetic wallpaper, superficial…
