This was… something.
I struggled with the rating as I liked the comedy of it all and I generally enjoy Oscar Wilde’s writing style a lot, the characters were all very strange to me and the story so absurd, but in the end it all plays into the comedic aspect of Lord Arthur Savile’s crime and it’s an interesting approach to criticise morals and the rules of pursuing happiness at that time.
