I have mixed thoughts on this book. My mom had told me to read it saying that it was one of her favorite books growing up. I liked it and it definetly got me out of my reading slump but I still have mixed thoughts about it.
If you don’t know what it’s about it’s about this family that lives up in the mountains and is very poor. When their father dies it’s up to the second oldest to take care of them.
There were a couple of things I didn’t like about it. Sometimes it seemed to just from one scene to the next withought any explanation and it didn’t really have a lot of plot.
