A mind-bending dystopian sci-fi with a great twist that I didn’t see coming. With callbacks to “1984”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “Pinocchio”, and other tales, this book blends them all in a unique way. That said, it did take me a little while to settle into this world. The ending is also rather bleak. But, this book was still worth the time and effort to read.
Moderate: Kidnapping
