This was a fun, easy read that was perfect for the summer. It was hilarious, had a quirky plot, and I had the first 50% read in only a couple of hours. Scottie is incredibly flawed yet relatable most of the time, and Wilder is the perfect golden retriever type that you can't help but love. However, the book is heavily focused around sex and, at times, sounded quite childish. Dont get me wrong their connection on that aspect was on fire, but i struggled to see any other chemistry between them beyond that. I also got annoyed really quickly with how often the phrase "he/she/i wet their lips", it was constant, literally on every single page, sometimes multiple times and gave me an ick i never knew i had.
