Did not finish book.
I read several of the books in these series’ in 2010. Did they live up to the test of time, you ask? Nay. They should be left in 2010.
I distinctly remember enjoying these books but, this one in particular, 1. has the King sexually assault the main character, who apologizes to him??? 2. then afterwards she has a very surface level “I’m a badass” inner monologue and proceeds to act the exact same?? 3. she falls in love with the guy (the very next scene) who assaulted her and she sits around waiting for him 4. She has sons who are ENTIRELY pointless, they don’t even have names
