A clever idea - three actresses associated with the female fictional detective Dahlia Lively engaged in some sleuthing - which is well executed. The narrative rests with each character in turn and the author does a good job of finding and sustaining each voice and without disrupting the flow of the novel. It did feel a long story in places - a little too much explanation of the plot - but that's only a minor quibble. An enjoyable read.
