Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse

5.0

What starts out as an introspective pessimistic memoir a la Camus, turns into a transformative look at the soul and self.

Get past The Treatise of the Steppenwolf, which is the hardest 20 or so pages, and you will be glad.

The last 70 pages blew my mind.
