Man, what a ride. My first Crichton and it certainly won't be my last. I am new to the action/adventure thriller but after reading PHM last year, I knew I had to pick this up. 

Claustrophobic atmosphere, mysterious goings-on. The characterisation was surprisingly nuanced for this genre.
