I enjoyed this read. There was time for the hero and heroine to foster a relationship and I enjoyed both characters. August is a worker heroine and enjoys what she does. She is strong and knows what she wants and that is not a husband. Evan needs an heiress since he inherited a broke estate and originally is to be betrothed to August's sister, until he meets her.

A fun story. I look forward to more in the series.
