This was cozy and sweet like a cup of hot chocolate. ☕️

I enjoyed this book, it was an adorable light read. The hero was such a sweet, capable and chubby but strong demon, and the body positivity in this was amazing. The story itself was like monster hallmark, and super cute.
The only thing I didn’t love was the heroine was such a manic pixie dream girl, the second she roller skated into the picture I got worried, but then she seemed to only exist for the hero to rescue her and teach her how to run her library (she supposedly has a masters in library science and yet he’s an expert and she lets him lead the way). I really wanted her to be more than just sweet. She was sweet and generous but also naive and dumb at times. This could be tweaked slightly and have her actually be capable of turning the library around with her own ideas after taking over for her uncle and the hero just partnering with her with his business acumen. I just wanted more from her in the brain department and less of her roller skating in the winter. The roller skating bothered more than it should have
